Back again !!!!
Well, today i would like to continue my writing in the blog.....

I want to share about how we learn English easily... Let's check it out...^^
1. Speak without fear
Learning English requires practice. Don't let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.

2. Use all of your resources
Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster. There are many different ways you can improve your English, so don't limit yourself to only one or two.

3. Surround yourself with English
Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English language radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television.  Speak English with your friends whenever you can.

4. Listen to Native Speakers as Much as Possible
One of the reasons is that native speakers have a natural flow to their speech that students of English should try to imitate.  The closer ESL / EFL students can get to this rhythm or flow, the more convincing and comfortable they will become.

5. Watch English Films and Television
This is not only a fun way to learn but it is also very effective.  By watching English films (especially those with English subtitles) you can expand your vocabulary and hear the flow of speech from the actors.  If you listen to the news you can also hear different accents.

6. Listen to English Music
Music can be a very effective method of learning English.  In fact, it is often used as a way of improving comprehension.  The best way to learn though, is to get the lyrics (words) to the songs you are listening to and try to read them as the artist sings.

7. Study As Often As Possible!
Only by studying things like grammar and vocabulary and doing exercises, can you really improve your knowledge of any language.

8. Do Exercises and Take Tests
Many people think that exercises and tests aren't much fun.  However, by completing exercises and taking tests you can really improve your English. One of the best reasons for doing lots of exercises and tests is that they give you a benchmark to compare your future results with.

9. Listen to English
By this, we mean, speak on the phone or listen to radio broadcasts, audiobooks or CDs in English. This is different than watching the television or films because you can’t see the person that is speaking to you.  Many learners of English say that speaking on the phone is one of the most difficult things that they do and the only way to improve is to practice.

10.Finally
Have fun!

Well, those are the information about how we learn English. Next time, i'll continue my writing. ^^ have fun everyone.....^^

Ways to Improve Your English

I'm back again.... I got the busy days recently... So, i can't update last week. But now, i'm ready to post it. Well, today i would like to share the information about the ways to improve our English. ^^. Actually, there are a lot of ways to improve our English but i'll take some of them which are easily to comprehend.

Let's start it!
First, Listen to English music. Even listening to music while doing something else can help a little for things like getting used to the natural rhythm and tone of English speech, although the more time and attention you give to a song the more you will learn from listening to it again in the future.

Second,  Read the lyrics to a song. Although just listening to a song in English can be a good way of really learning the words of the chorus in an easily memorable way, if you want to really get something out of listening to English music you will need to take some time to read the lyrics of the song with a dictionary. Once you have read and understood the lyrics,  if you then listen and read at the same time, this can be a good way of understanding how sounds change in fast, natural, informal speech. ( i have tried the way, it works everyone. You can start from your favourite song ^^)

Third, Sing karaoke in English. The next stage after understanding and memorising a song is obviously to sing it. Although some words have their pronunciation changed completely to fit in with a song, most of the words have the same sounds and stressed syllables as in normal speech. Remembering which words rhyme at the end of each line can also be a good way of starting to learn English pronunciation.

Fourth,  Only search in English. Switching your search engine to the English language version of msn, yahoo, Google etc. can not only be a good way of practising fast reading for specific information in English, but could also give you a wider choice of sites to choose from and give you an idea of what foreigners are writing about your country and area.

Fifth, Watch English language films with English subtitles. For people who can't understand a film without subtitles but find themselves not listening at all when reading subtitles in their own language, this should be the way of watching a film that you should aim for. If it is too difficult to watch the whole film this way, try watching the (usually important) first 10 or 15 minutes of the film with subtitles in your own language, switch to English subtitles after that, and only switch back to subtitles in your own language if you get totally lost following the story of the film.

Ok,, that's all the ways that i can share to you today. Hopefully, it will helps us in learning English. ^^

Tips for Memorizing Foreign Language Vocabulary

Well, i'm back...^^
Today, i would like to share some tips about how to memorize foreign language vocabulary. As we know that, we always feel frustrating when we want to memorize the vocabulary, don't we?  Learning the vocabulary is half the battle, which means improving your memory. But, no worries, i'll give you some unique tips that you can use.^^
1. Use Post-It Notes
One of the best ways to memorize foreign language vocabulary is to start with the objects you see and use every day. Grab your vocabulary textbook and a packet of Post-It notes and start sticking them on various objects in your home. The desk, a mirror, your refrigerator, a potted plant, the bed and everything else can serve as your study buddies. Just write the word in the foreign language on your Post-It and you'll see it each time you use or see that object. It won't feel like studying, but it will be far more effective.

2. Read Children's Books
Another great way to memorize foreign language vocabulary is by reading children's books. You can find them online or even in your local library written in multiple languages, and they use sufficiently simple vocabulary that you won't have trouble reading most of the words. When you run across a word you don't know or can't remember, have a foreign language dictionary handy to look it up.

3. Watch Foreign Films
Often, hearing words spoken in a foreign language will help you memorize vocabulary. Most film stores and rental shops have a foreign film section from which you can choose multiple titles. Take them home and watch them over and over again, looking for context clues to help you figure out what's being said. If you're trying to learn English, you can also watch the English channel on television.

4. Set Vocabulary to Music
The final unique way to memorize foreign language vocabulary is by setting it to music. Many children learn small foreign language phrases through songs, which means you can, too.

5. Pick A Techniques or Way of Studying
Some examples include using flash cards, make a dance out of it, make a song, relate the words to something you like, use acronyms, or a combination of the above.

6. Don't Forget to Have Fun with This
Don't make it boring!! Mix and match different things!

Ok, i guess it works when you follow some tips above. Remember!! you can modify the tips and be creative guys.....^^. I'll continue to give other tips next time...

Express your feeling . . .

Sunday, May 16, 2010

Well, today i'm going to share the information which is totally absolutely important for us as teens.....
But, before i start it.... i would like to say that i'm so happy that i can update this blog again,, hee....(not important, isn't it?????)

Back to the information,,,
Did you ever felt angry with someone or something that you didn't like?? if your answer is 'YES', you can follow some tips below that is probably can decrease your anger......

1. Try meditating
Do this every day to calm your nerves and you won't get so angry to begin with. Meditating calms the mind and helps you with your problems. You may be able to think more clearly too. Sometimes meditating can make you emotionless for the rest of the day. It removes a lot of stress and gives you a better outlook on the world.
 2. Try sleeping.
Sleep relaxes you and get rid of tension. It's so effective that you may end up waking without noticing you were angry. ( Believe or not!!! i had tried it and it works)
3. Clinch up your hand.
Don't make it in the shape of a fist; rather, try bending your fingers instead of your whole hand to release anger. If you put your hand into a fist, then you'll set yourself to hurt someone by punching them. That may get you into trouble. Some people get so mad that they sue and look at just how long that trouble will last!
4. Get active.
Instead of taking it out on people or yourself, take it out on your bike or exercising. Not only is it good for your anger outlet but it is also good for for health.
5. Take deep breaths.
It always calms nerves down. It is just a small meditation that releases a little stress at a time. It doesn't have as much effect as real meditation does but it does buy you calm-down time.

Therefore, if you feel angry with someone or somebody, you can follow the tips above to decrease your anger. Actually, there are so many tips that you can follow.... don't depend on the tips above... Moreover, you can create the solution by yourself..... i'll continue my writing next time...><
